A Ukraine visa from Pakistan is applied for partly online: register the form on visa.mfa.gov.ua, book and track on the VFS Global site, and lodge documents in person at VFS. Before that, check the employer on usr.minjust.gov.ua and the work permit on dcz.gov.ua; inside Ukraine, track the residence permit on dmsu.gov.ua. Pakistan is outside the e-visa list.
The online part of a Ukrainian route runs through official systems, from the employer check to the residence card. The visa: online form, in-person file
The Embassy of Ukraine in Pakistan asks for visa forms through visa.mfa.gov.ua (embassy visa page). Register the form with your name exactly as in the passport, keep the reference number and use it to book a slot on the VFS site. The passport, documents and fees then go to the centre in person, and the VFS tracking page follows the file to the consul and back. Ukraine's e-visa is a short-term, single-entry visa for 30 days, open to citizens of 52 listed countries; the published list leaves out Pakistan (legalaid.ua). For work, study and family, Pakistani citizens apply for a Type D visa through VFS.
The checks before you pay anyone
Two Ukrainian registers answer the first two questions about a job offer. The Unified State Register on usr.minjust.gov.ua shows whether the employer exists, its EDRPOU code, status and managers. The State Employment Service publishes each work permit decision on its site within 2 working days (Law No. 5067-VI, Art. 42-7), so a real permit can be matched by employer, name and dates on dcz.gov.ua. Inside Ukraine: residence permit status
After entry, the State Migration Service tracks your residence permit on its status e-service: enter the series and number of your passport, and the status appears 24 hours after filing. The same site has a stay calculator and an invalid-documents check. E-Residency is a separate track
On 21 June 2023 the embassy announced that Pakistan had been added to the list of countries whose citizens can become Ukrainian e-residents (embassy news). E-Residency is a remote status for running a business with foreign clients. Living and working in Ukraine run through the work permit, the Type D visa and the residence permit described above.
