Ukraine visa myths vs facts: 10 things Pakistani applicants are told, checked against the law
What agents and relatives repeat about permits, visas, fees and residence, set against the article of Ukrainian law that settles it.
Four myths sit behind the offers checked on this page: a permit without an employer, embassy contacts, a visit visa converted after arrival, a permit fee paid by the worker. Ukrainian law rules each one out. The employer applies and pays for the work permit, the consul decides the visa, and residence needs a Type D visa issued abroad.

Why these myths keep working
Each one shortens a step that the law makes the employer, the consul or the migration service responsible for, and moves the money from the employer to you.
