Visa procedure updates from Pakistan-side intake.
VFS Global Islamabad publishes revised appointment scheduling rules for Q2 2026, with implications for batched submissions and document-handover timing.
Effective 1 April 2026, VFS Global Islamabad will publish appointment slots on a rolling weekly basis rather than the previous monthly publication. The change reduces no-show rates and is expected to slightly compress overall consular throughput.
Applicants should book appointments as soon as their document pack is complete; speculative bookings (without documents in hand) will be subject to cancellation. Our intake schedule reflects the new cadence.
VFS continues to function strictly as a logistics provider — it does not influence consular decisions. Claims by third parties to 'reserve' VFS slots or 'bypass' the queue are unauthorised and constitute scam vectors.
